At Adapted Sports India (ASI) Foundation, we value diverse expertise that comes together to create inclusive ecosystems for Indians with disabilities aspiring to pursue physical activity and sports. The purpose of this text is to describe the work culture at ASI and how we continue to make a difference for the country while setting up global goals to advance education and research related to disability sporting rights in India.
Rewards & Remuneration: Our team is 100% volunteer driven (in exception to interns and associates who are hired on a pay-per task basis). All payments are made within the first 7-days (business) of task completion. All contributors are credited publicly for their work at all times. Contributors choosing to volunteer their time will be recognised through their profiles as volunteers.
Review of Applications: All applications for notified positions are reviewed within 15 working days and appropriate responses are emailed to the applicants. On a rolling basis, ASI accepts applications from experts and professionals who see themselves engaging with our mission and vision.
Request for Expertise: We contact all our experts over email communications and seek permissions before engaging with or utilising their work. In exception to scholarly published work that is available publicly, we seek permissions for engagement with copyrighted content every time. Daily Operations: Based on our values, we believe in allowing a flexible work culture for everyone who works to advance ASI’s mission. We do not track working hours of contributors and believe in promoting a self-starting culture. Contributors are expected to stay committed to honouring agreed timelines and expectations.
Adherence to the Law of the Land: We believe in staying committed to the responsibilities awarded to us as Indian citizens through The Constitution. Democracy, Justice for All and Socialism are some of the key values that guide our work through ASI.
Engagement with Media: ASI’s Registered Office is the only point of contact for all media inquiries and press communications. All communications must be sent only over email. Allow 48 hours of response time for all emails. Media outlets using content from this website must at all times cite the author’s full name and affiliation within their networks.
